German Shepherd Dog - Roofus-sponsor Me - Large - Adult - Male
Hi there, I'm Roofus. I am approximately 5 years old and am a shepherd mix. I came to HEA via another shelter that was having a hard time placing me. The reason I was at the other shelter is because I had a "run in" with a 3 year old that went unwittnessed by any adults. They think I bit the 3 year old in the forehead but no one knows exactly what happened because I was alone with the 3 year old and of course, she can't tell the story. So the other shelter as well as HEA would be looking for a home for me with no small children. Before I came here they also said I shouldn't live with other dogs because I was possessive of things, however, at HEA I live with 4 other dogs and have no issues with food or toys with the other dogs. Basically, I need to find a home where I will recieve lots of firm love and disipline. Until I find a home and family that will be just right for me (HEA and I realize it may be awhile), I am happy living here and am looking for someone to sponsor my care.
